About the project
Organisation and execution of the transportation of a 7-car high-speed train set from China to Uzbekistan. The route crossed three countries: China, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. Loading: September 1–2, 2026, Khorgos.
Key Project Parameters
Route: Khorgos (China) → Tashkent Tovarniy (Uzbekistan)
Number of units: 7 carriages
Total weight: 359.4 tonnes
Transit time: 5–6 working days from Khorgos
Cargo specifications
Type: High-speed train (HST) carriages
The 7-carriages consist forms a complete train set: two leading power carriages (TC), four intermediate motor carriages (M, M'), and one trailing carriages (T). Each carriages is a structurally independent unit with individual weight and dimensional characteristics.
Width and height are identical across all carriages: 3.15 × 4.35 m. Length varies by type — TC leading carriages are 2.15 m longer than intermediate carriages, requiring different trailer configurations.

| Carriage | Type | Weight | Length |
| TC 1 | Leading power carriage | 51 610 kg | 26,45 m |
| TC 2 | Leading power carriage | 51 675 kg | 26,45 m |
| M’1 | Intermediate motor carriage | 55 630 kg | 24,30 m |
| M’2 | Intermediate motor carriage | 55 690 kg | 24,30 m |
| M 1 | Intermediate motor carriage | 49 970 kg | 24,30 m |
| M 2 | Intermediate motor carriage | 50 750 kg | 24,30 m |
| T | Trailing carriage | 44 100 kg | 24,30 m |
Total weight of all 7 units: 359,445 kg. The heaviest carriages are M'1 and M'2; the longest are TC 1 and TC 2. The cargo falls into the technically complex oversized category: high-precision railway equipment requires strict compliance with the lashing scheme and restrictions on tilt angle and dynamic loads in transit.
Logistics solution
Seven specialised vehicle combinations were deployed — prime movers rated at a minimum 650 HP paired with modular trailers of 8 to 10 axles each. Loading platform length: 25 m for 5 trailers; 27 m for 2 trailers carrying TC cars. Platform width: minimum 3 m.
Loading was carried out at the Khorgos warehouse using an individual lashing scheme for each carriage, with load calculations per axle. All 7 vehicle combinations moved in a coordinated convoy accompanied by civilian escort vehicles throughout the Kazakhstan leg of the route. Lashing and unlashing was performed at both ends of the route.
Documentation
A separate document set was prepared for each vehicle: CMR, special road permits for China and Kazakhstan, loading scheme showing axle loads, and transit customs declaration. Customs transit was processed at both border crossings. Throughout the route the client received a daily position report on each vehicle.
Result
- All 7 carriages delivered to Tashkent Tovarniy on schedule
- 359 tonnes of cargo cleared customs transit through Kazakhstan without delays
- Cargo integrity confirmed on acceptance for each unit
